Committed to excellence
Dr. Louis Furter
Dr. Furter started Rossmile Dental in 1988. He is a “jack of all trades” dentist and practices purely out of love for the profession. His other passions include golf and flying.
Dr. Pierre Erasmus
Dr Erasmus enjoys practicing dentistry and working with his patients and best of all, he does this with over 40 years of experience! He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in root canal treatments. Dr Erasmus enjoys a wide variety of hobbies, some of his favourites are photography and Bonsai.
Dr. Dean Laubscher
Dr Laubscher is very passionate about what he does and meticulously pays attention to every detail. He has a special interest in oral surgery and periodontics. He is currently busy with further studies in periodontology. In his free time, Dr Laubscher enjoys cycling and diving.

Dental Examinations
A visual and radiographic dental examination – recommended
Dental X-rays
Dental radiographs are extremely important for proper diagnosis and prevention of future problems
Oral Hygiene
We recommend a proper “cleaning” and fluoride treatment with the oral hygienist two times per year.
Fillings
Teeth with decay, sensitivity and uncomplicated fractures can be treated with fillings.
Root canal treatment
Removal of the nerve inside a tooth and filling up the canals in order to save the tooth.
Extractions
When a tooth cannot be saved, the dentist will recommend having the tooth removed.
Dentures
One of the options to replace missing teeth is removable dentures that will can replace a few to all teeth.
Crowns
A crown will be recommended in cases where a lot of tooth structure is lost and the whole tooth needs protection.
Oral Hygiene
We recommend a proper “cleaning” and fluoride treatment with the oral hygienist two times per year.
Veneers
A veneer is a layer of e material that will cover a tooth for aesthetic reasons or to protect the tooth from further damage.
Bridges
This is one of the various methods the replace one or more missing teeth. It is a single unit consisting of crowns and replacement teeth.

One of the permanent options for replacing missing teeth. The implant basically replaces the root of the tooth and a crown is placed on the implant.
Wisdom teeth removal
Uncomplicated wisdom teeth removals can be done in-chair. Impacted wisdom teeth will be roved in theatre under general anesthesia.

Braces
Alignment of teeth is important for function and aesthetics. We offer orthodontic treatment for selective cases with minor alignment needs.
Sedation
We offer treatment under sedation for young and scared patients, especially where extensive treatment is required.

Schools are visited with the mobile clinic to do dental examinations and certain treatments.
